Aletha Smith focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. Before joining The Wright Legal Team, she founded and managed her own solo practice, representing clients across the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County in litigation and settlement negotiations. Her prior practice also encompassed family law, business law, trademark protection, and estate planning, giving her a broad perspective on the complex issues that affect families.
Aletha earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and is admitted to practice in California as well as the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She is committed to delivering compassionate, client-focused advocacy and practical solutions to help families navigate life’s most difficult transitions.
With her diverse background and extensive litigation experience, Aletha brings a well-rounded and strategic approach to client representation. Her prior work in business law, intellectual property, and estate planning allows her to recognize and address overlapping issues that often arise in family law cases, providing clients with comprehensive legal guidance. Outside of the office, Aletha enjoys golfing, traveling, and volunteering in her community, reflecting her commitment to balance and service both personally and professionally.
